Annie & David's Sapphire Point Micro Wedding

Annie and David's intimate mountain wedding in Colorado was a beautiful celebration of love. With just 15 guests, the couple focused on creating a special day surrounded by their closest family members.

As the couple was just embarking on their planning journey, they sent this message to Wendee at Custom Weddings of Colorado, "the main reason we decided to have a small destination wedding in Colorado is because we want to be surrounded by our family and the people we love! We also are excited about getting married in the mountains and get easily overwhelmed with the wedding planning to-do list and all the options. Overall, we think we would enjoy the day more with less people and hopefully less stress." The couple chose Wendee as their planner, who helped create a romantic and natural vibe for their destination wedding.

The day came together perfectly, and the couple looked stunning in their wedding attire--Annie in an A-line gown with lace detail and a plunging neckline and David in a classic navy suit. The couple chose to have a first look before heading to the ceremony site, and Andrea of Andrea Flanagan Photography perfectly captured every moment.

The ceremony was held at Sapphire Point, a popular scenic overlook in Summit County, Colorado. A quintessential venue for intimate celebrations, it offers breathtaking views of Dillon Reservoir, and the Tenmile and Gore Ranges.

Opting for a more intimate wedding offers numerous opportunities to infuse distinctive activities that elevate the specialness of the day. Annie and David curated a memorable ceremony, commencing with a unique twist. Each guest walked down the aisle processional style, offering the groom personalized advice before finding their seat. Certain traditions were kept—following the guest processional, Annie's father escorted her down the aisle, and following the ceremony, the couple shared first dances and popped a bottle of champagne before proceeding to the reception.

Dinner was held in a private room at the Hearthstone Restaurant in Breckenridge and included a beautiful wedding cake by La Patisserie Francaise.

The day came together with an amazing and professional vendor team:

Planner: Custom Weddings of Colorado (ceremony package)

Officiant: Phil Gallagher

Photographer: Andrea Flanagan

Videographer: Ben Gleeson with Rocky Mountain Fils

Florist: Stefanie Hofmeister

Cake: La Patisserie Francaise

Hair & Makeup: Breckenridge Hair Company

Overall, Annie and David's wedding was a beautiful and romantic celebration of their love. The couple spent an estimated $18,000 on their wedding, focusing on creating a small and intimate event that allowed them to cherish their special day with their loved ones.
