I'm so excited to share Brandon and Heather's gorgeous micro wedding at Agate Beach Lodge! When these two first told me about their vision for an intimate celebration with just their closest family members, I knew it would be something special.
You know those couples who just get it? Who understand that a wedding doesn't need to be huge to be meaningful? That's Brandon and Heather. After falling head over heels for the Olympic Peninsula during a vacation (I mean, who wouldn't?), they decided this magical corner of Washington was the perfect spot to say "I do."
Their wedding day was everything a cozy celebration should be. Starting with their first look at 4pm, Heather absolutely stunned in her Essence of Australia gown. The way Brandon's face lit up when he saw her - those are the moments I live for as a photographer!
They chose the sweetest color palette of deep berries and purples, which looked incredible against the moody Pacific Northwest backdrop. With just 17 guests (including some adorable kiddos ranging from 7 months to 7 years old!), their 5pm ceremony felt so personal and warm. No stuffy formality here - just pure joy and happy tears as they became husband and wife.
One of my favorite parts of the day was watching their families come together during the cocktail hour and dinner. Karen from Home Meals knocked it out of the park with the catering, and everyone just relaxed and celebrated exactly the way Brandon and Heather wanted. No strict timeline, no rushing around - just quality time with their favorite people.
We took advantage of that dreamy golden hour light from 7:30 to 9pm for some absolutely magical couples portraits. Let me tell you, the Olympic Peninsula knows how to show off! Between the forest and the coastline, we were spoiled for gorgeous backdrops.
These two proved that sometimes the smallest weddings make the biggest impact. Their day was intimate, intentional, and completely focused on what matters most - love, family, and making memories that'll last a lifetime.
Can't wait to share more from this beautiful celebration! And hey, if you're considering a micro wedding at Agate Beach Lodge (or anywhere in the Port Angeles area), I'd love to chat. There's something so special about these intimate celebrations that just fills my photographer heart right up. Get in touch with me here.
