Most of all, you want your photos to reflect your genuine personalities. As a professional photographer for 18 years, I'm a traditionalist at heart growing up in black and white darkrooms. But when it comes to weddings, I'm a bit of a non-traditionalist. Instead of stiff poses and grand ballrooms, I gravitate towards freestyle portraits in the great outdoors - where I climb trees, wade in streams, or stand on cliff edges to get the perfect photo. The result?: You and Mother Nature perfectly encapsulated in an honest and classically beautiful way.​​​​​​​ So many weddings later, I crave the storytelling opportunities and artistic challenges only weddings provide.
