If you’re looking for something a little more non-traditional, an Airbnb or VRBO might be a perfect fit. Choosing an Airbnb or VRBO to use as your wedding venue is a great way to save money, enjoy more flexibility with vendors and the time you can spend in the space, and you can find them no matter where you’re getting married.
When we were on the hunt for our perfect wedding venue, we eventually landed on a VRBO. Not only did it fit within our budget, but it also gave us a place to gather with our guests for the entire week (we had a destination wedding), and it checked all the boxes when it came to views and aesthetics.
Even though everything worked out super great with my wedding, I know I had a ton of questions when I started exploring this option. This guide will break down everything you need to know about renting an Airbnb wedding venue in Arizona, and I’ve even included a few great options to kick off your search!
So the answer is, “it depends”. Some years ago, Airbnb cracked down on parties at properties rented through their platform which now makes it a little more challenging to find homes that will allow weddings. Still, no matter where I search, I’m almost always able to find at least a few that allow them.
Additionally, if you’re having a more intimate celebration, or eloping, you have a better chance at finding an Airbnb in Arizona that allows weddings. And don’t be discouraged if you don’t find one, there are some great alternatives to Airbnb, like VRBO.
From personal experience, I can confidently say that VRBO offers a great alternative to Airbnb for wedding venues! Not only do they allow weddings, but their search filters make it super easy to find a property that allows events.
